This newly created position will work collaboratively with all key stakeholders to attract and retain a highly effective and skilled workforce while supporting the vision and mission of the School District.
While promoting a positive and engaging culture, the Director of Human Resources must thoroughly know best practices in human resources, hiring practices, and teacher certification.
This Act 93 position will operate in accordance with all federal and state regulations, including the PA School Code, district policies, and operating guidelines.
Additionally, this position will serve on the Superintendent's Executive Team and provide information to the School Board, staff, and the public.
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the writing and technology skills necessary for producing comprehensive reports and presentations, as well as organizational and leadership skills to supervise and evaluate the work of others, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and to investigate and resolve employee disputes.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience / Certification:
Five or more years of supervisory or administrative leadership experience in a school district; Bachelor's Degree required with a Master's Degree preferred in human resources, business administration, educational leadership, or a related field.
