Follow approved procedures for receiving product, price marking and restocking cases--to insure quality protection, accuracy and product rotation.
Able to safely use manual and electric pallet jacks and lifts.

Control department expenses.

Take action to control shrinkage and pilferage losses.

Assist the Produce Manager with effectively training and supervising other produce department personnel.
5.
Ensure all policies and procedures, relevant to scanning, are being adhered to.
PLU maintenance twice a week and weekly price changes.
6.
Follow sanitation program for maintenance of cases, back room coolers, prep areas, and refrigeration equipment.
7.
Ensure favorable department image with customers through a clean, attractive, and friendly department.
8.
Follow all store policies and procedures.
9.
Maintain and submit required records and reports.
10.
Observe local conditions and competitive activity relating to the Produce Department and keep others informed.
Perform weekly price check.
11.
Maintain good communications in store and throughout the organization.
12.
Take regularly scheduled inventories.
